Privacy policy
Picumail is a private mail app made by Andreas Piculell for his own use. This policy explains what it does with the data in a Google account signed in to it.
What it accesses
When you sign in with Google, Picumail asks for your email address and for access to your Gmail. It uses that access to show, organize, delete and send your email.
Where your data goes
- Your device connects directly to Gmail. Picumail has no server, and your email never passes through one run by Picumail.
- Copies of your email are stored on your own device so the app is fast and works offline.
- Your Google sign-in is stored in the Apple Keychain. It can sync between your own devices through your iCloud account.
- The optional AI features are off until you add an AI provider. Once you do, the email they read is sent to that provider, under that provider's own terms.
What it doesn't do
Picumail has no analytics or advertising. It doesn't sell your data, and it doesn't share it with anyone except as described above.
Google user data
Picumail's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Removing your data
Signing out in the app removes your sign-in and the email stored for that account on that device. You can also revoke Picumail's access at any time in your Google Account.
